Frequently Asked Questions

Retail & At-Home Whitening

What's the difference between your service and at-home whitening products?

Our in-house whitening services deliver better results than at-home products. A trained professional applies the gel directly to your teeth, ensuring full coverage—including close to the gumline, between teeth, and on back molars. While our at-home products are effective, they can’t match the precision and strength of our in-house treatments.

How are your services better than retail whitening kits?

We use a specialized gel that minimizes sensitivity while allowing for a higher percentage of peroxide for superior whitening. Our professionals also hand-paint the gel, ensuring optimal placement and results—something at-home kits can’t achieve.

Should I use whitening toothpaste?

We generally advise against whitening toothpaste. The whitening agents in these pastes are low quality and only remove surface stains. Plus, since people typically brush for less than two minutes, the exposure time is too short to make a real impact. Whitening toothpaste may also cause sensitivity.

Teeth Whitening & Dental Work

I just had my braces removed or dental work done. Can I whiten my teeth?

Yes! We recommend waiting at least 7 days after dental work or braces removal to avoid sensitivity.

How are your services better than retail whitening kits?

Yes! Dental work stains just like natural teeth. We can whiten it back to its original shade.

Should I use whitening toothpaste?

Yes, but for the first 24 hours, stick to “light and white” foods. Swap dark sauces (like barbecue) for ranch, and avoid coffee, wine, and other staining drinks.
